OBITUARY: Doris Grace Penry Buchanan
Mrs. Doris Grace Penry Buchanan, 88, Topeka died Thurs., July 21, 2005. She was born Oct. 18, 1916 at Ozawkie the daughter of Harvey and Stella Kenney Metzger.
Doris retired from Meadow Acres Best Western.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Margaret Whiltrout and Janice Blevins both of Topeka; 2 sons: Eddie Booth of Topeka and Larry McCall of Arizona; 30 Grandchildren; 58 Great-Grandchildren; and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Committal services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tues., July 26, 2005 at Prairie Home Cemetery. Doris will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.n. Monday.
