Doris "Dorie" Lee Herron of Topeka, passed away in Topeka on March 29, 2023 at her home.
Doris was born on January 18, 1934 in Lock Springs, Missouri.
She was the fourth child, second daughter born to August U. and Ruth Irene Hubbard.
Doris spent her childhood in Breckenridge, Missouri and graduated from high school in 1951. She then moved to Topeka where she spent her adult life.
On November 14, 1962 she married Roger Herron. To this union she brought two daughters from a previous marriage; Deborah and Dawn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roger, her daughter Deborah, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will take place on April 8, 2023 at Parker Price from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Interment will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery directly following services.
