Donna Jean Kraus-Cummings

Donna Jean Kraus-Cummings, age 50, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Topeka.  Donna was born February 25, 1971 in Topeka the daughter of David and Shirley (Jackson) Kraus.  She graduated from Emporia High School.  She attended Allen County Community College.  She worked as a medical receptionist for various medical facilities.  Donna married Kevin Safarik, they later divorced.  She married Randy Cummings, they later divorced.  She attended Fellowship Bible Church.  Donna enjoyed being outside, gardening, planting flowers and all types of crafts.  She enjoyed traveling, attending softball games, but more importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Kraus.  She is survived by her father, David (Hoeun) Kraus of Emporia; her mother, Shirley Kraus of Michigan; two sons, Brock and Bryson Safarik, both of Topeka; two brothers, Jerry and Lukas Kraus, both of Emporia, and four sisters, Theresa (Jim) Knapp of Michigan, Katy Beemer of Emporia, Kristyn Kraus of Emporia and Kelly Moore.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fellowship Bible Church.  She will lie in state Sunday from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Half Day Cemetery in Elmont.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com
