Donna L. Casey, 80, Topeka, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Plaza West Regional Health Center.
Donna was born in Wamego, KS on Dec. 8, 1927, the daughter of A.F. and Josephine (Welch) Edwards.
She graduated from Topeka High School.
Donna married Charles J. Casey inTopeka, KS on Oct. 17, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1997.
She worked as a Tax Examiner for the State of Kansas, retiring after 22 years.
Mrs. Casey is survived by her daughters, Pamela J. VonPertz; Patricia A. Casey and Cheryl L. Kirk; sons, Charles A. and David M. Casey; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd W. Edwards.
Private family inurnment will be at Wamego Cemetery, Wamego, KS. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price, 245 NW Independence is assisting the family with cremation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
