Donna L. Borchardt

Donna L. Borchardt, age 76, formerly of Topeka, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in Kerrville, Texas where she had been living for a while.  Donna was born June 18, 1945 in Topeka the daughter of Melvin and Bessie (Cole) Carder.  She grew up in Topeka, graduating from Seaman High School.  She worked as secretary for the Kansas Bankers Association.  She married Dale Borchardt December 17, 1992, he preceded her in death May 13, 2010.  Later in life, she enjoyed traveling with Dale, especially in their RV.  She moved to Texas in 2004 to be closer to her daughter.

Donna is survived by a son, Robert (Jlyn) Jackson of The Woodlands, TX; two daughters, Robin (Steve Harsha) Jackson of Topeka and Renea Jackson of Kerrville, TX; grandchildren, Chance Jackson, Elise Wiseman, Taylor Wilson and Jessica Heiskell; great grandchildren, Elliette and Brooks Weisman and Brinley and Elaina Wilson; and a brother, Gerald (Elaine) Carder.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Private family interment will follow.
