OBITUARY: Donavon Wayne Anderson
Donavon Wayne Anderson, 37, died Tues., Nov. 1, 2005 at his Tecumseh home. He was born June 28, 1968 at Topeka the son of Edward Wayne and JoAnn Floy (Stephens) Anderson.
He was a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School and DeVry Institute of Technology. Donavon was a audio-visual-electronics technician at Smith Audio Visual. He was a member of the Northeast Kansas Astronomy Association and International Harvestor Collectors, National and State Chapter # 3. Donavon was also an avid storm chaser.
Surviving are his parents: Edward W. and JoAnn F. Anderson of the home; a sister and brother-in-law: Brenda and Gary Hogan of Hutchinson; paternal grandmother: Ida V. Anderson of Auburn; niece: Meara Hogan of Hutchinson; 6 aunts; 6 uncles; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Sat., Nov. 5, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Big Springs. Donavon will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
