Donald L. Marston

Donald L. "Bud" Marston, 74, Topeka, was received into his Savior's loving arms on Tues., Feb. 2, 2010. He was born Sept. 24, 1935 at Goessel, KS, to Delbert and Ahda Marston, the fourth of seven children. He married Arleen Heim on Feb. 14, 1960. They had four children. Bud spent his career in the agricultural industry and is a military veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Topeka. Bud is survived by his wife, children Nancy (Crume), Kevin and Teresa (Eichman), seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren, three brothers, a sister and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Sat., Feb. 6, 2010, at Calvary Lutheran Church. Private interment in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Canton, KS. Bud will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Fri., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
