Donald Lee Hendricks

Donald Lee Hendricks, 70, Topeka, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, in Topeka. He was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Bloomington, Ind., to Herbert and Mildred P. Lawson Hendricks. He was formerly of Joplin, Mo., and had recently moved to Topeka. He married Loretta M. "Rita" Lake on April 18, 1954, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include four sisters, Phyllis Martindale, Indiana, Mary Ellan Delbak, Pennsylvania, Dorothy Ogburn, and Janet Hendricks, both of Illinois; and five brothers, Keith Hendricks, Indiana, Paul Hendricks and Joe Hendricks, both of Illinois, Tom Hendricks, Texas, and John Timms, Colorado. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rochester Cemetery. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Donald Hendricks will lie in state after 3 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice House, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, 66606-2800.
