Donald R. Conard, Jr.

Donald R. Conard, Jr, 80 of Topeka, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023.  He was born on March 9, 1943 at Victoria, Texas the son of Donald and Vira Hanchett Conard, Sr.   Don was the owner and operator of a gas station in Manhattan and owner and operator of Cardona Coffee.  He served as a pastor of the Restored Church of God.  Don was an avid outdoorsman, loved to camp and enjoyed motorcycling.

He was married to Carmen Eggarter on December 10, 1963 in Manhattan.   She survives at their home in Topeka.

Other survivors include his son, Kevin Conard and wife Amy of Auburn; daughter Connie Ann Conard of Topeka; brothers, Richard DeFries in Florida; sister, Patty Vardilos of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Sofie and Brady.

Preceding him in death is his son, Donald R. Conard III who passed in 2006.
