Donald Billings

Donald Ray Billings, 46, Topeka, died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at a Topeka hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1957, in Topeka, the son of J.E. "Ernie" and Lennie "Pete" Fox Billings. Mr Billings was self-employed as a certified small engine mechanic. He also was lead singer and guitar player in a band. Donnie loved to sing and play the guitar and ride bikes. He loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed his family and friends. He married Dale Ann Huntsman on April 2, 1977. They divorced. He later married Danny Danner. They also divorced. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Billings; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Billings. Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Lynn Billings, Topeka; a son, D. J. Billings, Topeka; a sister, Harriet "Trinket" Harding, Topeka; a grandson, Trey Lee Frye, Topeka. He also is survived by nieces and nephews, Robin and Mike Halstead, Michael, Shane, James Halste ad, Jessica and Chris Brown, and Ashley and Casey Hetrick; and a great-niece, Madison Brown.
