Dixie Wright, 79, passed away on July 16, 2017 at her home.
Dixie was born on March 12, 1938 to Ivan and Jessie (Stone) Ashton.
She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1956.
Dixie married Don Wright on March 10, 1956.
She will be remembered as being a wonderful wife and mother. Dixie loved to quilt and do crafts, go fishing and travel.
Dixie is survived by her husband, four children; Dayton Wright, Dalinda (Walter) Ehrhardt, Dena Barber, Daniel (Rene) Wright, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Gary (Kimberly Justus) Ashton, a sister Linda Dennison and a high school friend and care-giver, Judy Allen.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Topeka, Kansas. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.
