Diana F. Rinner, 92, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. She was born on September 12, 1932, in Iola, Kansas, one of six children born to Robert and Letha (Stateler Spears) Yocum.
Diana graduated from Iola high school with the class of 1950. She previously lived in the Merriam and Prairie Village areas of Kansas City (Johnson County, KS) prior to moving to Topeka in 1995. She lived in Topeka before moving to the Portland, OR area. She was also a member of the Seaman Congregational United Church of Christ in Topeka where she was a member of Friendly Seniors and served on various church boards. She always had a pet, and a Sheltie named Dukie was her favorite. She loved being with family, playing games and spending time with her friends. She also enjoyed music, County-Western and Spiritual where meaningful to her.
On June 8, 1957 she was united in marriage to Fred Rinner. Fred preceded her in death. Also preceding her are her siblings, Wilma McBee of Topeka, Alta Frantz of Vero Beach, FL Verl Childress of Wichita, Ks, Farel Nicholas of Lake San Marcos, FL and Carol Yocum of Topeka.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Tim Rinner & Marci Lane-Rinner of Milwaukie, Oregon; her grandchildren, Abby and Neil, of Milwaukie, OR and life-long friend, Joan Arbogast of Topeka.
Interment will be held in Rochester Cemetery Topeka, Kansas. ppdfuneral.com
