Diana Joyce Douglas, 67, of Topeka, passed away on November 1, 2021 at her home.
She was born on February 7, 1954 to Clarence and Margery (Ewbank) Hunt at Garnett, KS.
Joyce graduated from Garnett High School in 1972. She attended Washburn University, then later went to work for Laird Noller working as a telephone operator. After, she worked at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company as a receptionist. Joyce later worked for Standard Liquor working as a bookkeeper, then was an accountant at BRB Contracting furthering her career with Chronister Construction. Joyce then worked for McElroy's and then ended her career at the Rural Water District #3 as a manger.
On August 2, 1975 , she married Steven A Douglas in Topeka, Kansas.
Joyce enjoyed to play slow pitch softball, bowling, gardening, mowing, and spending her time outside. She loved to read Stephen King novels and to be with her puppies.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Steven; brothers, Jay (Ga) Hunt, Daniel Hunt, and Garen (Mary) Hunt; and sister, Gayle Hunt; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, 11:00 am at the Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Topeka, Kansas. Inurnment will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery West of Garnett, Kansas.
