Deonn K. Rukes, 69, of Perry, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023.
She was born May 13, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Jack and Carol Doud. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1971.
Deonn loved spending time with her family and was a homemaker for many years. She loved and enjoyed taking care of her animals, especially watching the hummingbirds. Deonn use to be on a bowling league with Paul, enjoyed being outdoors and going camping.
She married Paul A. Rukes on September 14, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas. Deonn is survived by her husband, Paul A. Rukes; Son, Michael (Janet) Doud and three grandchild, Seth Doud, Ethan Doud and Noah Doud. She was preceded in death by Son, Daniel Rukes and her parents.
Honoring her wishes, cremation is planned. There will be no services at this time. In her honor, memorial contributions can be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society.
