Dennis F. Antes, 66, of Topeka, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Health Care.
He was born March 11, 1948 in Highland, Kansas, the son of Edward Bernard and Velda Blanche (Starks) Antes. He was a 1966 graduate of Seaman High School.
Dennis worked at the Whelan's Door and Window Plant before starting his own business.
Dennis married Karen K. Hudson on August 30, 2011 in Topeka. She survives along with other family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, trapping and fishing. His other enjoyments included telling stories and reading history.
Dennis was cremated and a gathering for a celebration of life will begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue until 5:30 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka.
