Dennis J. Dachenhausen

Dennis J. Dachenhausen, 67 passed away at home with family by his side on April 3, 2024. He was born on July 1, 1956 in Wamego, Kansas the son of Leroy and Carol Dachenhausen. He was raised in Topeka, Ks. He was a very hard worker on his home and his rental properties. He retired after 35 years from USD 501. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family.

He is survived by his children Lacey Dachenhausen (Eric Williams) and Valerie Benteman and husband Travis Benteman, sisters Diane Meyer (Micheal Meyer) and Stacy Springer (Jesse Springer); grandkids, Alaciana Dachenhausen, Eric Williams Dachenhausen, Thomas, Erika and Asya Williams, Taylor, Zachary, Bryan, and Nathan Benteman. He became a great grandpa recently to Byron Gonzalez Jr., Nova Newton, and another little boy due in September.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Carol Dachenhausen.

The family will greet friends from 4-6 pm on Friday April 12, 2024 at the Parker-Price & Davidson Reception Center. Private inurnment services will be held at Westlawn Memorial Gardens. PPDfuneral.com
