OBITUARY: Delmar J. Sandeffer
Delmar J. Sandeffer, 90, Topeka, died Wed., April 22, 2009. He was born Nov. 8, 1918, in Topeka, the son of George W. and Mabel B. (Craig) Sandeffer. Delmar was retired from the State Printing Plant. He was married to Esther M. Tostado on June 22, 1943, in Topeka. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2002. Surviving are a daughter: Deborah S. Koss; 2 sisters: Mary Green and Bernice Hancock; a grandson: Brian Koss; and 2 great-grandchildren: Brittany and Blake Koss. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Sat., April 25, 2009, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Delmar will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Fri., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
