Deborah Marlene Reece

January 4, 1957 — September 28, 2021

Deborah Marlene Reece, 64, of Topeka, Kansas passed away Thursday, September 28 th , 2021.

She was born on January 4, 1957 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dr. Jerry Schreiner and Joyce Dultmeier.

Debbie married James Reece April 25, 1992.  Debbie was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a wife, and a friend to many over the years.  Her door was always open for those that needed a little comfort or respite; some interesting characters crossed that doorway through the years to say the least.  She loved her family deeply even as she lived imperfectly in an imperfect world.  She was a believer in Christ and is now perfect, in perfect peace, surrounded in perfect love, with the Lord for all eternity.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Janey Marlene Wallace, who passed on September 15, 2021.

Debbie’s husband, James “Peewee” Reece, passed away shortly after her death on October 7, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Frank Forrestt; her nephew and niece, Michael and Krystle Schreiner, who she raised as her own; her mother Joyce Dultmeier; her brother Doug Schreiner and her brother Phil Schreiner.

She was loved greatly and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service for Debbie and James will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12 at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 North Kansas Avenue, Topeka, KS 66608.
