OBITUARY: Mrs. Dayle V. Hutton
Mrs. Dayle V. Hutton, 93, died Wed., Oct. 19, 2005 in Denver, CO. She was born July 25, 1912 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Scott W. and Martha D. Crocker Combs.
She was married to Charles W. Hutton on Feb. 22, 1931 in St. Joseph, MO. Her life was spent in Topeka until Feb., 1995 when she and her husband moved to Lakewood, CO. After nearly twenty years of service, she retired from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas on Jan. 1, 1974 as Manager of Contract & Data Services.
Mrs. Hutton has been a member of Seaman Congregational United Church of Christ for over 50 years and an Associate of the First United Methodist Church of Golden, CO since moving to Colorado.
Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Charles D. and daughter-in-law Beverly Joan Hutton of Lakewood, CO; a grandson Terry D. and granddaughter-in-law Cathy Hutton and two great-grandchildren of Nyssa, OR; one brother, Wayne L. Combs of Berryton, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Mon., Oct. 24, 2005 at Seaman Congregational Un. Church of Christ. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery. Mrs. Hutton will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence where the family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
