OBITUARY: David Michael "Mike" Price

David Michael "Mike" Price, 52, Topeka died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. He was born March 29, 1953 at Topeka the son of Iris E. (Basel) and Edward James Price, Sr.

Mike served in the U.S. Marine Corps from August 1972 to Sept. 1976 and took part in of the recovery of the USS Pueblo. He was a switchman/brakeman/conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad. Mike was a member of the Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church.

On July 2, 1978 Mike was married to Sally Anne Richards at Flint, MI. She survives of the home, Topeka.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his parents: Iris and Edward J. Price, Sr. of Topeka; 3 brothers: Edward J. "Jim" Price, Jr., Eldon R. Price, and Brian K. Price all of Topeka; and a sister: Sherry A. Neely of Sturkie, AR.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Kansas, 4300 S.W. Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604-2419.
