David Crawford

David Dion Crawford, 46, Topeka, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at Midland Hospice House. He was born Nov. 7, 1958 in Topeka the son of Raymond E. and Norma Lee Hinkle Crawford. Dion was formerly employed at Adams Business Forms. Dion was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Misty McGhee, Miss.; a son Cory McGhee, Miss; sister, Sharon L. Smith, Topeka; brother, Raymond Dean Crawford, Topeka; one grandson Caden McGhee, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews. Dion was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 a.m., Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Osage County. Dion will lie in state after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at the funeral chapel with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Midland Hospice House 200 SW Frazier Cir.
