David Albert Andrade
David Albert Andrade, 53, Topeka, died Thursday, July 22, 2004, in Topeka. He was born Feb. 8, 1951, at San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Albert Fred Eastman and Mavis Anne Reeves. He had lived in Topeka for 13 years. Mr. Andrade was an electrician for Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of IBEW, Local Union No. 594. He married Diana J. Harvey on June 23, 1970, in Hinkley, Calif. Surviving are four sons, James Andrade, Fort Mohave, Ariz., Billy Plessner, Phelan, Calif., and Gary Chandler and Jesse Chandler, both of Topeka; five daughters, Shawna Loh, Topeka, Shannon Purkiss, Ocean Side, Calif., JoAnne Estes, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Jolene Andrade and Crystal Andrade, both of Topeka; his mother, Mavis Russell, Topeka; a sister, Mary Thiefoldt, Banning Calif.; a brother, Mark Eastman, Newberry, Calif.; and 24 grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka. Burial will be in Half-Day Cemetery in Elmo nt. Mr. Andrade will lie in state after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home & Crematory, Parker-Price Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 S.W.
