OBITUARY: Daryl Franklin Wamego
Daryl Franklin Wamego, 59, Topeka, died Tues., Dec. 6, 2011, at the KU Med Center. He was born July 11, 1952, at Holton, the son of Brock Rawles and Beverly J. Wamego. Daryl graduated from Topeka High School. He lived in Grand Junction, CO, for a time before returning to Topeka. Daryl loved motorcycles and music, and was a great artist. Surviving are his son: Michael D. Moore of Lawrence; sisters: Linda S. Bass and Geneva A. Nocktonick, both of Topeka; and a brother: George Nocktonick, Jr. of Topeka. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Mon., Dec. 12, 2011, at the Dance Ground Cemetery. He will lie in state after 1:00 PM, Sun., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka where the family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
