Darryl A. Lovelace

Darryl Andrew Lovelace, age 56, passed January 8th, 2022, in Topeka, KS.  Darryl was born July 30, 1965 in Rifle, Colorado, the son of Kenneth and Janice Lovelace.  He lived in Colorado until moving to Wamego, Kansas, where he graduated from high school.  He joined the Air Force and served our country for seven years as an air traffic controller.  Darryl was a regional route sales and serviceman for Factory Motor Parts.  He was a good bowler, liked to fish, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandkids.

He met his future wife Gigi, and they had their first date on Valentine’s Day of 2003.  They married on May 24, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Gigi; sister, Chrissy; daughter, Brianna; three sons, Steven, Joshua, Jeremy; and ten grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home.  Military honors for Darryl will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, by the honor guard from Whiteman Air Force Base of Missouri.  Donations can be made to: www.gofundme.com/f/hhyfp-covid19-medical-bill .
