Darlene Joan Klamm
Darlene Joan Klamm, 78, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Select Specialty Hospital of Topeka. She was born May 28, 1935, in Topeka, the daughter of Ben and Mabel Ellen (Bennett) Morris.
Darlene was a graduate of Seaman High School. She worked at Kaw Valley Bank for a total of 18 years. She later worked for Falley's Grocery. She was a former member of Helena Chapter # 210, Order of the Eastern Star, where she had served as Worthy Matron. Darlene had been active with Job's Daughters, Assembly Number 58, where she was Guardian for several years.
She was married to Theodore A. Klamm. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her three children: Debra J. Rensing (Jesse) of Tecumseh, Kenneth A. Klamm of Topeka, and Donald D. Klamm (Rhonda L.) of Topeka; a sister: Iona Millard of Tecumseh; three grandchildren: Stephen Allen of Topeka, Elizabeth Klamm of Topeka, and Joshua D. A. Klamm of Topeka; two great-grandchildren: Ryan Allen and Liam Allen; and a brother-in-law: William Klamm (Phyllis) of Wichita.
Darlene was cremated. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Helena Chapter # 210, Order of the Eastern Star, 909 NW Lyman Road, Topeka, Kansas. Eastern Star services will be conducted by Helena Chaper # 210, Order of the Eastern Star. Memorial services will be followed by a luncheon served by Helena Chapter # 210, Order of the Eastern Star.
