Darla Jean Ferretti, 47, Topeka, died Thur., June 30, 2011, at her home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1963, in Topeka, the daughter of Leonard C. and Gloria J. (Hurley) Steinbock. She graduated from Topeka High School and attended Washburn University. Darla worked for FISERV. She was a member of Mother Teresa Catholic Church.
Darla was married to Mark A. Ferretti on Oct. 15, 1983, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband: Mark A. Ferretti of the home; 3 daughters: Jessica Reichle (Bryan) of Honolulu, HI, Rebecca Ferretti of Topeka, and Katelyn Ferretti of Topeka; her parents: Leonard and Gloria Steinbock of Topeka; a sister: Nancy Clark (David) of Topeka; and 3 brothers: Mark Steinbock (Marcia), Craig Steinbock (Debbie), and Gary Steinbock all of Topeka; parents-in-law: Rose Ferretti and John Ferretti both of Topeka; sister-in-law: Jacqueline Kincaid (Russ) of Silver Lake; and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Wed., July 6, 2011, at Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 2014 NW 46th Street. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. A vigil prayer service will be at 7:00 PM, Tues., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Darla will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Tues., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
