Danny Lee "Dan The Man" Price, 57, of Topeka, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014.
He was born May 30, 1956 in Topeka, KS, the son of Arlie and Sadie (Hester) Price, Sr.
He was a graduate of Seaman High School.
Mr. Price was employed by A & W Asphalt, Hamm's Asphalt, Bettis Asphalt, Price Asphalt all of Topeka and most recently, McAnany Asphalt, Shawnee, KS.
He was a member of the Labor Union of Topeka and Operators Union Local No. 101.
Danny married Mary Anderson on September 14, 1984 in Topeka. She survives of the home. Other survivors include son, Preston L. Price, Topeka; a daughter, Sadie (Aaron) Larson, Ozawkie, KS; three grandchildren, Wyatt Price, Kelsie Larson and Dani Larson; three siblings, Peggy Price Long, Carbondale, KS, Leonard Price, Leavenworth, KS and Lonnie Price, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Shirley Simneck, Arlie Price, Jr., Linda Anderson, Marsha McDonald, Dorothy Circierski and Donald Price.
Mr. Price was cremated. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Mary Price.
