Danny Dwaine Hendricks

Danny D. Hendricks, 64, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019.   He was born April 20, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Lloyd B. and Mary K. Lambert Hendricks.   Danny served his country in the United States Navy.   He was a longtime corrections officer for the State of Kansas prior to his retirement.   He enjoyed fishing , making chili, going to Branson, his dog Memphis, making model cars and spending time with his grandkids.   He liked to take them fishing.

He was married to Pamela K. Gerber on May 9, 1981 in Topeka.

Survivors include his wife Pam of Topeka; sons, Michael Hendricks and wife Delonah of Topeka and Morgan Hendricks and wife Kandice of Raytown, Missouri; grandchildren, Arianna, A.J. Scarlett, Chesney and Finley; brother, Tony Hendricks; and sisters, Debbie Dacus, Tammy Burnside and Bridgett Pogline.

Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm on Thursday evening, June 20 ^th at the funeral home.   Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
