Daniel J. "Dan" Koch, 37, of Silver Lake, KS, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012.
He was born December 14, 1974 in Topeka, the son of Maurice B. and Linda K. (Thornton) Koch. He was a 1993 graduate of Jefferson West High School.
Dan was employed by Appelhanz Roofing Company, Topeka.
Survivors include his parents, of Hoyt; fiancée, Shelia Hare, Silver Lake; two children, Maurisa and William Koch; a sister, Julie (LeRoy) Schmitz, Seneca, KS.
He was preceded in death by a son Robert Koch in 2008.
Cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. A graveside service and inurnment will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Topeka.
