Daniel "Smokey" Green

Daniel R. “Smokey” Green, age 66, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home in the Oakland neighborhood of Topeka.  Smokey was born August 20, 1955 in Denver, Colorado.  Smokey graduated from Highland Park High School.  He married Linda Cox October 23, 1976.  Smokey worked as a plumber for Latta-Whitlow for several years.  Smokey enjoyed Harley-Davidsons, ham radio, fishing, competitive barbequing and coaching Eric’s sports.  He also enjoyed watching the Chiefs play football.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Linda Green; a son, Eric Green and a sister, Connie Cramer.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Family will greet friends following the services.    Services will be live-streamed at the Davidson Funeral Home & Cremation Services Facebook page.  Private interment will be at the Topeka Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Phoenix Hospice or the Helping Hands Humane Society and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  www.davidsonfuneral.com
