Daniel (Danny) Lee Czajkowski passed away at the age of 62 on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Topeka, Kansas. Dan was born on February 13, 1960 to Thomas Czajkowski and Carol (Brown) Czajkowski. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1978. Daniel entered the United States Marine Corps on January 27, 1982 where he served 20 years as a Gunnery Sergeant, until he was Honorably Discharged on January 31, 2002. He went on to graduate with his associate’s degree from Allen County Community College. He worked for the State of Kansas as an IT Specialist for 17 years. He later continued his career at 360 Document Solutions out of Lenexa, Kansas for four and a half years. Dan was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, papa, brother, and a friend. Although he rarely admitted it, he was a huge animal lover, especially enjoying his time with his dogs Sophie, Cinnamon, Max, Potter, Basil and Bella. He was an avid reader and specifically enjoyed science fiction novels. He enjoyed binging late-night, watching science fiction TV shows/movies and gaming on his phone. He especially loved sports, specifically the Kansas City Chiefs and KU Basketball, he never missed a game and would often be seen on Sundays wearing his Kansas City Chiefs gear! He enjoyed bowling, pool, and playing poker. When you wanted a delicious home-cooked meal, he was the one to call, as he thoroughly enjoyed cooking. He was known to be “the protector” to many people that he loved, which can be credited to the love and kindness he received from his own father Thom whom he highly looked up to. Dan's kindness, generosity, and big teddy bear heart was unlike any other. He will be forever etched into our hearts and minds. Dan is survived by his loving wife Sandra; five daughters, April (Jesse), Ashley (Ryan), Whitney (Bob), Autumn (Allan) and Alannah (Zach) and three sons, Dustin, Mitch and Addison; 21 grandchildren; 10 granddaughters, 11 grandsons; one great-grandson; one brother, TJ and two sisters, Deanna (Chuck) and Jodi.
