Dale E. Morstorf, 62, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011.
He was born October 7, 1948 in Topeka, KS, the son of Russell and Dilla (Schultz) Morstorf. He was a graduate of Topeka High School.
He owned and operated M & M Services in Meriden, KS, retiring in 2002.
He was a former member of Arab Shrine in Topeka and Masonic Lodge No. 236 A.F. &A.M. in Meriden. He was an Eagle Scout and later served as an Assistant Scout Master.
Dale married Linda File in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Tim (Julie) Morstorf, Lawrence; two step-daughters, Heather (Thomas) Massey, Carbondale, KS and Holly Ellis, Florida; 7 grandchildren; his mother, Dilla Morstorf, Topeka; and 3 siblings, Russell (Carol) Morstorf, Topeka, Franklin (Joyce) Morstorf, Meriden, and Loretta (Byron) Brown, Topeka.
Honoring his request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., today at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Private interment of the cremated remains will be at a later date.
