OBITUARY: Cynthia Lynn Thompson
Cynthia Lynn Thompson, 43, Topeka, passed away on Mon., Dec. 10, 2007, at her home. Cindy was born on Feb. 28, 1964, in Topeka, the daughter of Roger Barnes and Judy Samuelson. Cindy graduated from Seaman High School. She is survived by her husband, Bernie Thompson; son, Jeremy Brandenburgh; father, Roger Barnes; mother, Judy Samuelson; brother, Scott Barnes; sister, Jill Gooden; grandfather, William Shugard; niece, Jayci Gooden; nephew, Tyler Gooden; and stepsons, Brent and Brian Thompson. Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM, Thurs., Dec. 13, 2007, at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka. Cindy will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wed., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Road, Topeka, KS 66617.
