Cornelia M. Moon

Cornelia M. Moon, 80, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. She was born May 1, 1939 at Stockdale, Kansas the daughter of William and Margaret Harrison Mildfeldt.   Cornelia lived most of her life in Topeka.   She worked for the Topeka Presbyterian Manor, Dibbles, Highland Park Pharmacy and Harry’s IGA.   She enjoyed western movies on TV, garage sales with her grandchildren. Cornelia’s life really revolved around her children and their families.

She is survived by her children, Wayne Moon and Kathy, Mickey Moon and Amalia, Karen Hinck and Dennis and Penny Moon; grandchildren, Heather, Jamie, Carly, Tyler, Anna Marie, Kingston, Jennifer, Dustin, Mistina, April, Mindy, James and Stephanie; 28 great grandchildren; siblings, Fort Mildfeldt, Wanda Lemon, Kenny Mildfeldt, Ernie Mildfeldt, Celestine Newman, and Mae Ann Gertsch.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Rachel, and fifteen brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 24 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, June 23 ^rd at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Harvesters or to Helping Hands Humane Society.
