OBITUARY: Colleen Eunice Walstrom
Colleen Eunice Walstrom, 74, Topeka, died Fri., March 23, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1938, in Idaho Falls, ID. Her parents Tracy and Esther Henderson raised her in Topeka. She was employed by the State of Kansas, Department of Administration before retiring. Colleen married C.E. "Butch" Walstrom on Sept. 23, 1996, in Las Vegas, NV. Surviving are her husband: C.E. "Butch" Walstrom; daughter: Angela Lindsey Simons; son: Derron J. Lindsey (Tammy); step-daughter: Lisa Sisson (Bo); step-son: Bart Walstrom of Ft. Worth, TX; brother: Kenneth Henderson (Diane); 2 sisters: Dorothy Taylor (Richard) and Jan Gast (Jimmy); and 3 grandchildren: Shane Simons, Hayley Lindsey, and Jordan Lindsey. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tues., March 27, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Colleen will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Mon., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
