Cody Campbell, 32, of Topeka, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020.
He was born June 10, 1987, in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of John E. Campbell and Jeanette "JT" (Vathauer) Pendleton. He graduated from Seaman High School and earned his journeyman HVAC from Kaw Valley Vo-Tech.
Cody was employed by Piping Contractors Inc. (PCI) for 14 years and was supervisor of the construction division. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 441.
He was married to Dani Starkey. They later divorced.
Survivors include his daughter, Wyat Campbell and her mother, Jolie Myers; his parents, John (Bonnie) Campbell and Jeanette "JT" (Rick) Pendleton; stepsiblings, Ryan Pendleton and Shannon Pendleton; maternal grandmother, Dolores Vathauer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John, Sr. and Naomi Campbell, paternal aunt, Cheryl Foltz; and maternal grandfather, Dean Vathauer.
Cody enjoyed the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, and water activities. He was a story-teller and a dancer. He also enjoyed motorcycling and spending most of his available time with his daughter Wyat, who he adored dearly.
Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2020 from 3pm-8pm at Parker-Price Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 11am Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
