Clydeen Marie (Petersilie) Logan, 64, of Lecompton, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.
She was born September 2, 1952 in Topeka, the daughter of Arthur L. and Ethyl M. (Rainbolt) Petersilie.
Clydeen graduated from Shawnee Heights High School and Kaw Valley Area Technical College.
She loved spending time with her family, riding horses, gardening and was always accompanied by her dog, Ginger.
She was married to Charles R. Logan on April 24, 1971. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her father, Arthur L. Petersilie.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda R. Rhoades (Ronald Jeffries) of Topeka, Georgia R. Hollis (Matt) of Valley Falls and Sara R. Thomas (Alan) of Silver Lake; her mother, Ethyl Petersilie; her siblings, Donna Simmons, Shirley Mathes, Janet Barber and Kenneth Petersilie; and five grandchildren, Brittany (Rhoades) Kelley, Dustin Rhoades, Brodie Hollis, Alissa and Clara Thomas.
Clydeen will lie in state after 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 23rd at the Big Springs United Methodist Church with burial to follow in East View Cemetery in Big Springs.
