Christy Michelle Frantz, 34, of Topeka, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, after her long courageous battle with Leukemia. Christy had a deep faith in the Lord and a great love of family. She will be most missed for her humor and her ability to turn everyday life into an adventure.She and her family had recently moved back to Topeka from Andover, NJ.
She was born December 10, 1978 in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Terry G. and Cynthia D. (Sizemore) Agler. She was a graduate of Seaman High School and attended Kansas State University.
Christy married Nolan Z. Frantz on May 22, 2010 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two children, Isaiah (7) and Aiyana (2) of the home; her parents of Topeka; siblings, Charla (Jon) Huston, Cami Harrington, Carrie (Jim) Leske, Donnie (Elisa) Agler, and Candace (Tom) Gommels; paternal grandmother, Jo Anne (Harvey) Young; parents-in-law, Leonard and Jan Frantz, Hillsboro, KS and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Interment will follow at the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Christy will lie in state after 8 a.m., Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Christy Frantz Children's Education Fund, 3630, NW 35th, Topeka, KS 66618 or to Topeka Bible Church, 1135 SW College Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.
