Chris Wolfe

Chris Wolfe, born on December 7, 1995, in DuQuoin, Illinois, passed away on April 10, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. A valued member of his community and a cherished friend to many, Chris was known for his outgoing personality and deep compassion for those around him.

Chris graduated from Seaman High School in 2015. He dedicated over nine years of his professional life to Success Vision, followed by employment at Target Distribution. His commitment to his work mirrored the passion he invested in his personal interests, which included playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends and spending quality time with his family. An avid music lover, Chris particularly enjoyed newer rock music, which often accompanied his gatherings with friends.

Chris leaves behind a close-knit family who will remember him fondly. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Wolfe; brothers Andrew (Kathy) Wolfe, Jason (Karey) Wolfe, and Kevin (Shirley) Wolfe; sister Allie Wolfe; uncle David Wolfe; uncles Bob Overton, Thomas Overton, and Gary Overton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his paternal grandmother, Joan Wolfe.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, Michael Wolfe; paternal grandfather Joe Wolfe; maternal grandmother Donna Overton; and maternal grandfather Billy Jack Overton. The love and memories that Chris has left behind will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him well. He will be remembered not only for his vibrant spirit but also for the kindness and warmth he shared with everyone he encountered.
