Charlotte Ellen Wolfe, 78, passed away on October 30, 2017 at The Kelly House in Topeka. Charlotte was born in Winchester, Kansas, on October 10, 1939, daughter of Jess P. Fidler and Mary Barkley Filder. She graduated from Perry High School, then later went to work for Jostens for 39 years.
Charlotte is preceded in death by both of her parents, one brother, Ralph Fidler and a son, Jessie Boyer. She is survived by 5 sisters, Bess Milhauser of Oregon, Judy Welch of Leavenworth, Mary Ann Briggs of Carbondale, Carol Gross of Topeka, and Debra Banfield of Barnes, Kansas.
Calvin C. Wolfe Jr., 77, passed away on November 5, 2017 at Midland Hospice House. Calvin was born in Topeka, on July 5, 1940, son of Calvin Wolfe Sr. and Gladys Belle Wolfe. Calvin graduated from Topeka High School, then went to work for Jostens for 45 years.
Charlotte and Calvin were married on February 16, 1980 in Oakland. Together they had 6 children.
Calvin is preceded in death by both of his parents, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
He is survived by one brother Gene Wolfe of Tecumseh, Kansas
Together they are survived by 2 sons, Clayton Boyer of Topeka, Jess Boyer of Topeka, and James (Christine) Wolfe of Topeka; three daughters, Candice Wilkens of Lawrence, Jeanice Bloom of Salina, and Robin (Ray) Espinosa of Topeka; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held together, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be made to Kelly House or Midland Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com.
