OBITUARY: Charles "Ray" Branch
Charles "Ray" Branch, 66, Topeka passed Fri., Sept. 26, 2008, at his son's home. He was born Jan. 9, 1942, at Mt. Vernon, IL, the son of Nellie (Altom) Branch. Ray served in the U.S. Air Force and was a welder for the State of Kansas. Surviving are his life partner: Mary Lou Branch of the home; a daughter: Terri L. Coates-Gotta of Topeka; a son: Bo Branch of Auburn; a step-son: Jeff; a step-daughter: Joni; step-father: Joe; sisters: Joann and Kathy; brother: Jack; 6 grandchildren; and 6 step-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Wed., Oct. 1, 2008, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3649 SW Burlingame Road, Topeka, KS 66611 or Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
