Charles R. Cummings

Charles R. Cummings, 64, of Topeka passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born February 22, 1960 in Holton, Kansas the son of John and Euna Cummings. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1978 and later attended college in Texas. When he was younger he enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He worked for Knight Transportation as a truck driver.

He was married to Marsha. She survives at their home in Topeka. Other survivors include his sons, Phillip Cummings, Alex Cummings, Logan Cummings, Patrick Monhollon and Gerald Monhollon; his siblings, John Cummings (Andrea), Mary Corkhill, Jim Cummings (Linda), Dan Cummings (Therese), George Cummings (Geri), Janice Long, Andy Cummings; sister-in-law, Julie Cummings and brother-in-law Dan Runnebaum.

Preceding him in death are three siblings, Leo Cummings, Donna Cummings and Carol Runnebaum; his parents; and two brothers-in-law, Tom Corkhill and Terry Long.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, June 27 at Parker-Price Funerals and Receptions. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Hoyt.
