Cecil Schnacker, 70, Topeka, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017.

He was born March 14, 1947, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Everett and Virgie (Estabrook) Schnacker. He attended Seaman High School and Silver Lake High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Cecil was employed by the Good Year Tire & Rubber Company retiring after 37 years.

Cecil married Judy Rogers on April 19, 1969 in Topeka, Kansas. Other survivors include their children: Chris Schnacker, Carey (Shawn) Cobb; grandchildren: Josh (Shawna) Evans, Andrew and Ryan Schnacker; great-grandchildren: Kaylen and Kleric Evans, all of Topeka; siblings: Arliss Douglass and Darold (Catherine) Schnacker.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Bob and Lee Schnacker.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery. Cecil will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
