Carrie Ann-Morgan Cummings, 13, of Topeka, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014.
She was born August 9, 2000, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Andrew D. and Rose Cummings.
She graduated from the 8th grade at Washburn Rural Middle School.
Carrie enjoyed school, music, being sang to and long bathes.
Survivors include her father, Andrew Cummings; her mother, Rose Cummings; her brother, Andrew Jacob Cummings, foster parents, Jon and Gina Allen; her grandmother, Rebecca Huerta; foster grandparents, Rizalina and Jesus Galvez, all of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John W. and Euna U. Cummings.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Carrie will lie in state after 3 p.m., Wednesday, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to TARC, 2701 SW Randolph, Topeka, KS 66611.
