Carolyn Sue Williams

Carolyn Sue Williams, age 79, of Topeka passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. Carolyn was born June 12, 1940 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Millard and Mary Lewis McDaniel. She graduated from Highland Park High School. She married Chester Junior Williams September 13, 1958. He preceded her in death July 22, 2004. Carolyn worked part-time as a Cameo instructor for over 15 years. She also worked part time for the State of Kansas in the tax department. She volunteered at St. Francis Hospital for many years. She enjoyed crocheting and painting.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Williams July 3, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Richard) Hansen of Topeka; two brothers, Gus (Vonna) McDaniel of Ozawkie and Mike McDaniel of Meriden; two sisters, Patricia McDaniel of Indiana and Jeannie (Larry) Martin of Valley Falls; six grandchildren, Gary, Jamie, Candice, Matthew, Sue and Tiffany and several great grandchildren including RyAnn, Austin, Mason, Sawyer and Charlee.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at the Meriden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
