Carolyn Sue Neill

Carolyn Sue Neill, 65, Topeka, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Midland Hospice House. She was born April 11, 1950, in Topeka, the daughter of Eldon Eugene and Wilma Winona (Weiler) Roberts.

Carolyn graduated from Topeka High School in 1968. She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and was a member of Local # 307.

She was married to Jerrold Ray Neill on January 21, 1985, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Roberts, on November 26, 2008; and a step-son, Todd Neill, on December 16, 2013.

Surviving are a son: Kenneth Lyle Myrick III (Janda) of Topeka; step-daughter: Christina Neill of Topeka; siblings: Kenny Roberts (Sandy) of Topeka; Walt Roberts (Dee) of Thornton, CO, Jim Roberts (Ginger) of Topeka, Linda Calderwood of Topeka; Larry Roberts (Ann) of Topeka, Marcheta Goebel (Gary) of Auburn, and Thomas Roberts of Topeka; grandchildren: Cheyla Myrick, Larisa Myrick, and Kenton Myrick; step-grandchildren: Keith Burgett, Allen Burgett, Troy Baker, and Brandon Neill; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will be in Mission Center Cemetery, SW 29th and Urish Road, Topeka.

Carolyn will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Friday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
