Carolyn Sue Bowen, 58, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011.
She was born August 11, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of William Bradley and Joyce Faye (Haislip) Turner. She attended public schools in McLouth and graduated from Lawrence High School.
Carolyn married Harry Gene Boyle in 1969 in Tonganoxie, Kansas. They were divorced. Survivors include her children, Julie (Gene) Parker, Christopher (Jessica Carey) Boyle, both of Topeka; four grandsons, Austin Parker, Cody Parker, Peyton Parker and Camden Boyle; two sisters, Sissey Bostic, McLouth and Jackie Ruble, Orlando, FL; and a brother, Charles Jessup, McLouth. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Buddy Jessup.She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who loved gardening, crocheting and reading.
Mrs. Bowen was cremated. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2011at Midland Hospice Campus, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS.
