Carol Ann Watson

Carol Ann Watson, 72, of Topeka passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019.  She was born January 14, 1947 in Topeka the daughter of Charles and Betty Childs Shrimplin.  Carol lived most of her life in Topeka.  She graduated from Topeka West High School and attended Washburn University.   Carol retired from the United States Postal Service.  She was an artist at heart and enjoyed painting and drawing. She also enjoyed taking her grandchildren to the Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University.  Carol was very social and enjoyed visiting with people.   Carol was married to Michael Watson, they later divorced.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Watson of Topeka; son, Josh Watson of Topeka; her ex-husband Michael Watson of Topeka; sister, Nancy McKenzie and her husband Neil of Willard, and her grandchildren, Ezra and Lucy Watson.
