Carol Faye Boten

Carol Faye Boten, 75, Topeka, died Monday, January 22, 2018, at her home. She was born May 18, 1942, at Thompsonville (Jefferson County, Kansas) the daughter of Walter Scott and Ida Mae (Abel) Brown.

Carol had lived in Topeka most of her life.

She was married to Thomas Czajkowski. They later divorced. She was married to John Boten who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson: Ronnie Graham II; and two siblings: Pearl Brown and Larry Brown.

Surviving are four children: Daniel Czajkowski (Sandie) of Topeka, DeAnna Czajkowski Fitzgerald (Charles) of Carbondale, JoAnn "Jodi" Czajkowski Graham of Rossville, and Thomas "T.J." Czajkowski (Josie) of Topeka; three brothers: LeRoy Brown (Jan) of Carbondale, Walter "Gary" Brown (Shirley) of Topeka, and Michael Brown (Barbara) of Topeka; 12 grandchildren: Dustin D. Spencer, Ashley Czajkowski,. Whitney Czajkowski-Farrell, , Joseph Fitzgerald, Benjamin Fitzgerald, Beth Fitzgerald-Hager, Edward Fitzgerald, Daniel C. Cregut, Renae Ramirez, Taylor Czajkowski, Blake Czajkowski, and Chance Czajkowski; six step-grandchildren: Mitchell Pearson, Addison Mikkelson, Alannah Mikkelson, Autumn Tait, April Mitchell, and Dakota Wallace; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2018, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th and Menoken Road, Topeka.

Carol will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
