Carmen Torres, 79, Topeka, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018.
She was born June 19, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Rito Valdivia Sr. and Leonie Mata.
Carmen was an active member of the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she was part of the Altar Society and Augustinian Third Order.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Torres and Michael Torres, Topeka; siblings, Maria Chavez husband Tony, Monica Matchett husband David, Susan Perez and her husband John, Lucia Martin, Mary Ann husband Carlos, Rito Valdivia Jr. Wife Bertha, Angel Valdivia wife Mary and Raymundo Valdivia; two granddaughters, Jezzamine and Isis Torres and sister-in-law, Karen Valdivia.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. with visitation to follow until memorial service time at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
